Congressman Andy Kim Endorsed by National Progressive Organizations in Bid to Unseat Indicted Senator Bob Menendez

MOORESTOWN N.J. – Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced he has been endorsed by Daily Kos and the Progressive Turnout Project. These endorsements come only two days after ECU // LAV endorsed the Congressman on Tuesday.

“I’m proud to have these two major endorsements and the grassroots support that comes along with them as we work to build a people-powered campaign that’s focused on good governance, cleaning up corruption, and restoring trust and integrity in public service,” said Congressman Kim. “This campaign is about giving New Jersey voters a choice. I believe holding elected office is a public trust, and that public servants should be held to the highest ethical standards. I believe Senator Menendez has broken that trust and New Jerseyans deserve better. I’m running to put people above political power or ambition and I’m excited to have the grassroots support of these organizations as we work together to do so.”

Congressman Andy Kim was first elected to Congress in 2018 and is the first Asian American elected to federal office from New Jersey. In 2018 and 2020, Andy defeated two self-funding millionaires in a district carried by former President Trump, and in 2022 Kim defeated his third self-funding millionaire opponent by 12 points.

In his three terms in Congress, Andy has worked to deliver improved health care for veterans, relief for homeowners suffering from Superstorm Sandy, and has been a leader in strengthening congressional ethics and getting money and its corrupting influence out of politics.
